Fermiqcd: a Tool Kit for Parallel Lattice Qcd Applications

FermiQCD is a collection of classes, functions and parallel algorithms for lattice QCD [1], written in C++. It is based on Matrix Distributed Processing (MDP) [2]. The latter is a library that includes C++ methods for matrix manipulation, advanced statistical analysis (such as Jackknife and Boostrap) and optimized algorithms for interprocess communications of distributed lattices and fields. Th...

Lattice QFT with FermiQCD

FermiQCD is a C++ library for fast development of parallel Lattice Quantum Field Theory computations. It has been developed following a top-down fully Object Oriented design approach with focus on simplicity of use. FermiQCD includes: a heatbath algorithm for Wilson and O(a2) improved SU(n) gauge actions; inversion algorithms for Wilson, Clover, Kogut-Susskind, Asqtad, and Domain Wall fermionic...

Fabrication of Al/Graphite/Al2O3 Surface Hybrid Nano Composite by Friction Stir Processing and Investigating The Wear and Microstructural Properties of The Composite

Friction stir processing was applied for fabricating an aluminum alloy based hybrid nano composite reinforced with nano sized Al2O3 and micro sized graphite particles. A mixture of Al2O3 and graphite particles was packed into a groove with 1 mm width and 4.5 mm depth, which had been cut in 5083 aluminum plate of 10 mm thick. Packed groove was subjected to friction stir processing in order to im...

A Direct Matrix Inversion-Less Analysis for Distribution System Power Flow Considering Distributed Generation

This paper presents a new direct matrix inversion-less analysis for radial distribution systems (RDSs). The method can successfully deal with weakly meshed distribution systems. (WMDSs). Being easy to implement, direct methods (DMs) provide an excellent performance. Matrix inversion is the mean reason of divergence and low-efficiency in power flow algorithms. In this paper, the performance of t...

Thermo-mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites reinforced with randomly distributed silica nanoparticles- Micromechanical analysis

A three-dimensional micromechanics-based analytical model is developed to study thermo-mechanical properties of polymer composites reinforced with randomly distributed silica nanoparticles. Two important factors in nanocomposites modeling using micromechanical models are nanoparticle arrangement in matrix and interphase effects. In order to study these cases, representative volume element (RVE)...
